Chris Hudson is a Baltimore-born, Portland-based comedian who has performed at Helium Comedy Club Portland, Emerald City Comedy Club in Seattle and also at clubs in D.C. (Comedy Loft), Los Angeles (The Comedy Store), Philly & beyond accompanied by his current facial hair configuration.
He’s been in HBO’s Veep (campaign staffer) & his jokes have been featured in The Washington Post, Playboy, Funny Or Die, Paste Magazine and HuffPost. He has opened for Shane Gillis, Stavros Halkias, Kyle Kinane, Ariel Elias, Nick Mullen and more. He also has appeared at The D.C. Comedy Festival, Rip City Comedy Festival and Artscape.
He currently hosts Leave Your Troubles at The Door, a completely improvised stand-up comedy showcase (created by him in 2019) where comedians riff jokes using audience problems anonymously submitted before the show, which happens monthly in Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington. Leave Your Troubles also travels to new locations and cities almost every month. His 2019 independently released stand-up comedy album It'll Probably Be Fine can be found on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Google Play and Bandcamp.
